Metal building erection in Central Oregon
Steel garages, shops, barns and storage buildings erected on a foundation built for the site. RCC handles the dirt, the concrete and the building.

What metal building erection covers
Erection is the work of turning a delivered steel building package into a standing structure: setting and anchoring the frame, squaring and bracing it, and installing the roof and wall panels, trim and openings to the manufacturer's instructions.
RCC is an authorized dealer and installer for VersaTube steel buildings, and erects metal buildings as part of a full package with excavation and foundations. If you already own a building kit and need it put up, call to talk through it.
Permits and snow load come first
Most garages and shops need a permit. In the City of Bend, a building permit is generally not required only for structures of 200 square feet or less and no more than 15 feet tall. In unincorporated Deschutes County, the threshold is over 200 square feet or over 10 feet in height. Our guide on permits for a garage or shop in Deschutes County has the details.
Snow load is set site by site in Central Oregon, using the Oregon Snow Load Map. The building and its foundation both need to be designed for that number. See snow load requirements in Central Oregon.
